Description:
- POSITION CLASSIFICATION: Staff Nurse -RN
- SUPERVISED BY: DON, ADON
- SIGN-ON BONUS!! $5,500 over 2 years
General Duties:
- Be responsible for the assessment, treatment or care of child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
- Screens, communicates and responds to patient needs appropriately
- Responds to clients telephone call using approved protocols
- Ensure patient privacy and comfort during the home visit's and assessments
- Be accountable for direct and indirect quality care for patients of all ages, according to the individualized needs of the patient
- Educate patient and family about diagnostic procedures, medications, chronic disease management and treatment instructions when applicable
- Act as a content expert and clinical resource by providing staff and patient education
- Accurately document all pertinent information regarding the patient in EMR
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred, previous education and experience may be substituted. Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state in which the facility is located.
Experience in health care delivery system helpful.
Clinical decision-making ability required.
Ability to communicate effectively required.
Ability to function independently required.
Demonstrates clinical competency.
